Reporting A Network Problem or Getting Help

Any problems being experienced with the campus network or any requests for assistance using the network should be reported to Help Desk Central at 845-8300 or by sending email to helpdesk@tamu.edu. These problems will be logged in a tracking system and a CIS support person will contact you to help you resolve your problem.

The Networking Help Desk is available to answer many questions regarding network issues. They also provide services such as ethernet card installs and repairs, software installations, virus and spyware removal and wireless card installations.

For Campus Network Security related incidents, please send mail to security@tamu.edu. If available, please provide any log files that may help in an investigation. For more information on Campus Network Security, visit the CIS Network Security Team.
